FAQs

The Retail Management Internship is available to students who are required to undergo an Internship Programme as part of their course. If your course has a required Internship Programme element, you are eligible to apply.

Possibly, but only usually within your chosen region. We’re a fast-growing business so it’s important to have a flexible, understanding approach.

An average working week will be 45 hours. this will be spread over 5 days and may include weekend and evening work.

Your role will cover various aspects of in-store training, head office training and project work. We'll need you to travel between locations, but travel expenses will of course be reimbursed.

If, after graduating, you’re considering Aldi as a career choice – and you performed well on the programme – chances are you’ll be invited to apply for a permanent position. Your Direct Leader will need to recommend you first though.

If your Masters course has a required Internship Programme as part of the course, you are welcome to apply. If your Masters does not have a required Internship Programme as part of the course, we would recommend you apply to our Graduate Area Manager Programme.

The internships can vary in duration across 6, 9 or 12 months depending on the relevant degree discipline.
